Now 100% Digital – Certified Business Angel (CBA) Program
10 years ago, the Certified Business Angel (CBA) program was developed by the Business Angel Institute in cooperation with leading scientists and experts. CBA is certified by incite. Throughout the years hundreds of newcomers as well as experienced angels have been trained. Additionally, the CBA program has been successfully established in the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
REDESIGNED AND BRAND NEW
Based on the long-term training experience as well as the network of angel investors and communities we used the COVID-19 pandemic to completely redesign our CBA program. The program is now fully digital. However, this does not mean that it is just a set of videos. Participants will also find useful downloads, reading material or targeted questionnaires. All of which will assist them to prepare for the actual CBA certification at Incite.
EXPERT SESSIONS & MORE
The transfer of knowledge management is essential in the start-up community, which is why we offer expert sessions for our participants. These sessions include topics like taxes or promotions in Austria. The plan is to further enhance these sessions so that even experienced angels will feel the “back to school” vibe.
LIVE expert sessions will be held with Mr. Berthold Baurek-Karlic, co-initiator of CBA program. This ensures the personal and individual touch of the sessions. By joining this course, you will not only expand your horizon but also become a true professional.

The now digital Alumni club enables our motivated CBA Alumnis to share their knowledge and connect with angels internationally.
THE CBA TITLE
Candidates who have passed a written and an oral exam at incite – our independent ISO-certified examination partners – will receive the CBA title. CBAs are expected to abide by the CBA Code of Ethics. They will also acquire membership in the exclusive alumni club. Being a CBA serves as an internationally recognized signal of quality, seriousness, and professionalism. CBAs benefit from better deal flow, better negotiating positions, international contacts to equal professional angels and ongoing education services addressing common challenges.
